T & G Breastfeeding Welcome Scheme
Did you know...?The Equality Act 2010 has made it illegal for anyone to ask a breastfeeding woman to leave a public place such as a cafe, shop or public transport. |
Little Angels want to help make it easier for mums to breastfeed when out and about. Although you can breastfeed in any public place, we have put together a list of local businesses that have agreed to sign up to our very own Breastfeeding Welcome Scheme. This means that these businesses have agreed to follow a set of standards set by Little Angels to make sure that you can breastfeed on their premises in comfort, without any prejudice or discrimination.
So, have a look at the list below, or you can download the pdf to print and take it with you. Make sure you plan ahead so you know where to stop when baby gets hungry. Happy Shopping!

More Information or Complaints
We will shortly be posting further details of the scheme on our website, however, in the mean time, you can request a copy of the welcome scheme standards by filling in the enquiry form on our Contact Us page.
All of the businesses below have signed up to our scheme in good faith and we hope that your experiences with them are pleasant. We do regularly check back to make sure each business is still following the scheme, however, if you ever feel the standards of the scheme have been breached, please contact us and let us know. We also appreciate the good feedback, so please let us know if you are made to feel particularly welcome as well!
